36 - Agency Theory with John Stoj from Verbatim Financial
Tuesday Dec 22, 2020
Tuesday Dec 22, 2020
Today I talk to John Stoj about the Agency Theory. Agency Theory is the thought that there are issues that arise between people and their agents that work on their behalf. This principle has wide uses, but today we are going to focus on the risks that investors take on by taking on a financial advisor. We talk about different pricing models that advisors use, some wordplay that is used to make you feel safe with them, as well as some questions to ask to get an idea for how good of an advisor they will be for you. This is an episode that I am very proud of and am happy to have it here for you!
